Objective: This study aims to systematically review the evidence on barriers to and facilitators of physical activity (PA) engagement among community-dwelling older adults.
Design: Systematic review.
Data Sources: Electronic databases MEDLINE, Embase, APA PsycINFO, SPORTDiscus, CINAHL Plus, AgeLine and Scopus were searched from their inception to 14 April 2024.
Introduction: For decades, the diameters of the blood vessels have occupied an essential place in predicting AV fistula maturation. However, in addition to absolute vein diameters, vein distensibility has recently been correlated with AVF outcome.
Objectives: We assumed intraoperative measured vein distensibility using the saline solution can successfully predict fistula maturation.
Introduction: The use of social media as an educational tool has increased over the past decade. Research to date has explored the prevalence of social media use in students. Less is known about the ways in which social media is used, particularly by Australian medical students, in terms of purpose and function.

Studies to determine dynamic changes in synaptic protein nanoarchitecture typically rely on immunolabeling or on the expression of fluorescent proteins. The former employs chemical fluorophores and signal amplification but requires fixation.

A qualitative descriptive methodology was employed, involving semi-structured individual interviews with 30 specialist ECMO-trained intensive care nurses. An open inductive thematic analysis was conducted, with four main themes identified; (1) demand on ECMO trained critical care nurses (2) nurses' professional commitment, (3) physical and mental impact of isolation, and (4) adaptive training and education.
