This study investigates the unique syneresis (self-shrinking) behavior of N-Terminally Fmoc-protected amino acid, Fmoc-hPhe-OH (Fmoc-homo-L-phenylalanine, abbreviated in this work as hF)-based hydrogel, and its potential in environmental remediation applications. Fmoc-hPhe-OH (hF) forms a hydrogel in 50 mM phosphate buffer (PB) of pH 7.4.

Background: Tracheal intubation can be challenging, especially in unanticipated cases, where patient positioning plays a critical role. The bed-up-head-elevated (BUHE) position may improve intubation outcomes.
Research Design And Methods: This randomized non-inferiority trial included 90 ASA I-II patients undergoing elective surgery.
Background: Sunlight offers significant health benefits; however, its therapeutic use among yoga and naturopathy physicians varies across India owing to differences in state regulations and training patterns. This study aimed to establish consensus-based guidelines for therapeutic sunbathing using the Delphi method.
Methods: This three-round Delphi study enrolled 25 yoga and naturopathy physicians, after obtaining ethical approval and informed consent.
Background: Self-care mobile health (mHealth) apps empower users to manage their health independently by supporting symptom tracking, medication adherence, and lifestyle changes. Given the limitations of mobile platforms, such as small screens and limited input capabilities, usability is a critical factor influencing the successful adoption of these apps.
Methods: This article presents a systematic review of user-based usability testing practices in self-care mHealth applications.

Targeted drug delivery remains a critical challenge in the treatment of ulcerative colitis, as the side effects of current systemic therapies often outweigh their therapeutic benefits. In this study, we developed a reactive oxygen species (ROS)-responsive nanogel system that releases polymeric chloroquine (PCQ), a macromolecular derivative of hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), for localized treatment of ulcerative colitis. The initial nanogel formulation, measuring 183 nm in size with a surface charge of +13 mV, was synthesized via RAFT polymerization using a thioketal dimethacrylate cross-linker to demonstrate ROS-triggered degradation, physicochemical stability in simulated gastrointestinal fluids, favorable biocompatibility, and preferential accumulation in inflamed colonic tissue.
