People living with HIV have disproportionate cancer risk and are a priority population for cancer prevention and control efforts globally, including in Vietnam. HIV-related and cancer stigma independently and intersectionally hinder access to and uptake of prevention and treatment. Using formative qualitative research that used the "What Matters Most" theoretical framework and cognitive interviewing, we developed three culturally-tailored stigma scales for people living with HIV in Hanoi, Vietnam (i.

However, further studies on oxidative stress and histopathological changes in fish tissues exposed to POME are essential so that a more comprehensive and detailed understanding of its toxicity is attained. Subsequently, this study investigated oxidative stress indicators, including malondialdehyde (MDA) content and activities of antioxidant enzymes, as well as histological changes in zebrafish (Danio rerio) tissues after chronic exposure to POME.

We have characterised the promoter from an oil palm metallothionein gene (EgMT) and performed a serial 5' deletion analysis to identify the region(s) essential for transgenes expression in roots. Stable functional characterisation of tobacco transgenic lines using the T generation showed that a deletion construct, designated as RSP-2D (1107 bp), directed strong GUS expression at all stages of root development, particularly in mature roots.

For instance, Mn containing oxides are among the most active ORR catalysts, while Ni based compounds tend to show high activity toward the OER in alkaline solutions. In this study, we show that incorporation of Ni into α-MnO, by adding Ni precursor into the Mn-containing hydrothermal solution, can generate distinctive sites with different electronic configurations and contrasting electrocatalytic activity.
