Objectives: To evaluate the effect of adding L-arginine-containing mesoporous silica nanoparticles (ArgC18@MSNs) to a commercial universal adhesive for anti-caries purposes, focusing on antimicrobial/physico-mechanical properties.

Methods: ArgC18@MSNs were synthesized using N-oleoyl-L-arginine as a drug-structure-directing agent and characterized by TEM, N adsorption-desorption, FTIR, XRD, TGA, and DLS. Drug release was monitored by UV-Vis for 7 days.

Objectives: To evaluate the effect of prolonged solvent evaporation on the clinical performance of universal adhesive systems in non-carious cervical lesions (NCCLs).

Materials And Methods: A total of 148 NCCLs were randomly placed in 28 subjects according to: SUP5 (Scotchbond Universal Plus adhesive [ethanol-water] evaporated for 5 s); SUP25 (SUP evaporated for 25 s); GBU5 (Gluma Bond Universal adhesive [acetone-water] evaporated for 5 s); GBU25 (GBU evaporated for 25 s). Restorations were evaluated at baseline and 6 months, using the updated FDI criteria.

Objectives: To evaluate the clinical performance of a novel self-cured bulk-fill composite (Stela Automix and Stela Capsule, SDI) with a light-cured bulk-fill composite (Filtek One, Solventum) after 12 and 18 months.

Methods: A total of 165 Class I or Class II posterior restorations were placed in 55 participants. The self-cured composite groups received Stela primer followed by either Automix or Capsule forms.

Objectives: To assess the penetration of hydrogen peroxide (HP) into the pulp chamber and the bleaching efficacy on teeth with white spot lesions (WSLs) compared to sound teeth, when subjected to both in-office and at-home bleaching treatments.

Materials And Methods: Forty premolars were allocated into four groups (n = 10 each): sound teeth and teeth with artificially induced WSLs, both subjected to at-home bleaching (16% carbamide peroxide) and in-office bleaching (35% hydrogen peroxide). WSLs were induced in half of the specimens using a 14-day pH-cycling protocol alternating between demineralizing and remineralizing solutions.
